• HealthCorps is a national non-profit organization that gives teens tools to improve physical and mental health so they can learn to live more productive and happier lives. HealthCorps students exercise more, eat better and practice positive thought.The CurriculumThe curriculum provides turnkey skills to integrate health and wellness an organizations current programming. In 2015, HealthCorps teamed with CK-12 to distribute a free, interactive and customizable versions of the HealthCorps curriculum for educators and students to use. Living LabsAcross the nation, HealthCorps maintains a network of schools we call Living Labs. Here, a full-time Coordinator is placed inside a high-need high school to mentor hundreds of students, teach health related workshops, and promote a variety of during and after school activities.HealthCorps Coordinators have two directives:Give your students the tools to make healthier living choices, andChange the culture of health and wellness in the community you serve.HealthCorps University HCUHealthCorps University is train-the-trainer professional development program that certifies participants to bring HealthCorps curriculum to their organization, whether its a school system, community group or corporation.Like the Living Labs, HCU is rooted in the three pillars of the HealthCorps curriculum: nutrition, fitness and mental resilience.
