Thats because everything we design is handcrafted by master artisans. The way we see it, either we let automated manufacturing and homogenous design take over the world. Or we stand up with chisels, rough hands, and an eye for detail to create something thats out of this world. History Karv was founded by friends Andrew Sloop and Brad Randall in 2012. Brad and Andrew met in the jungle of Peru in 1999. Ever since they have been on a mission to bring the wonders and craft of traditional artisans to the world. Karv hand carved products fulfill that mission by combining cutting edge design with legacy craftsmanship. Social Responsibility We take great pride in providing a safe and stable platform for master artisans to practice their craft and earn a wage commensurate with their talents. Our Artisans are the ultimate recyclers. Many Karv products are hewn from high quality wood remnants left over from luxury furniture production. This beautiful, exotic wood is otherwise too small for use, and would end up being burned or turned into saw dust. Karv gives back. Our artisans participate in a profit sharing program that rewards them for their magnificent work and returns profits to their communities. Additionally, Karv sponsors training programs that provide artisans with useful tools in the areas of design, computation, and entrepreneurialism.
