Get Full AccessDescription
- Postle Industries, in business since 1969 with Postalloy® Hardfacing and Hardbanding Products, offers a complete range of welding alloys designed to protect equipment from wear caused by abrasion, impact, metal-to-metal friction and other causes. Industries that use our products include mining, dredging, steel and non-ferrous metals, railroads, pulp and paper, oil and gas drilling heavy construction/earthmoving, forging, quarries, recycling, agriculture, cement, brick and clay, logging, and power/energy. In 1980, Postle introduced some of the first Postalloy® .045 hard surfacing wires and helped pioneer their development and growth. Today, small diameter hard surfacing wires have gained world-wide acceptance. Postle produces cored wires of many chemistries and all diameters - .035, .045, 5/64, 1/16, 3/32, 7/64 and 1/8 for many applications. In 2002, Postle turned their attention to the Oil and Gas Drilling industry. A group of uniquely designed non-cracking wear resistant alloys was created to for hardbanding drill pipe. Tuffband NC was developed in 2002, followed by Duraband NC in 2007, the first 100% crack free hardbanding alloy for maximum wear protection. Hardbanding Solutions, a separate business unit of Postle Industries, operates exclusively in the oil and gas exploration industry, as well as geothermal drilling. Duraband® NC and Tuffband® NC hardbanding alloys are the most reliable products in the industry and have been independently tested and certified to protect the casing and still provide excellent protection of the tool joint to prolong the life of the drill string. In 2013, Postle Industries turned its attention to welding applications in the railroad industry related to hard surfacing and buildup of rail and track components. Two new products were introduced Postalloy Frogtuff and Railtuff, available as both flux-cored wire and flux-coated electrodes. For further information please contact sparky@postle.com.
