• The Birmingham law firms of Whitaker, Mudd, Luke & Wells, LLC and Hall, Conerly & Bolvig, P.C. are pleased to announce their merger, effective February 23, 2015. Attorneys Jack J. Hall, Sr., C. Peter Bolvig, Jack J. Hall, Jr., and Christy C. Glidewell will join John F. Whitaker, William A. Mudd, K. Phillip Luke, and David R. Wells as members. Associate attorneys include John S. Shashy and Brandon J. Clapp.This merger joins together two related and historic firms. Hall, Conerly & Bolvig, P.C., originally was founded in 1915 by Mr. Joseph P. Mudd, grandfather to William A. Mudd, and this year celebrated its 100th year as a law firm. Three of the four members of the Whitaker, Mudd, Luke & Wells firm spent a majority of their early legal years at Hall, Conerly & Bolvig, P.C., under the leadership and tutelage of Jack J. Hall, Sr. and Edward O. Conerly.
