Our cutting edge institute provides children, parents and entire families with progressive therapies that go right to the heart of their struggles to heal from the inside out. We offer: Play Therapy for Children, Parent Support, Teacher Education and Support and Therapist Training.Nominated in 2011 and 2012 for Provider of the Year for the Association of Play Therapy, it's part of our vision to help educate and elevate the standards of treatment for children and families worldwide. In this, PTIC offers extensive training and supervision to play therapists who want to serve their local community or who wish to work internationally. We have locations in Boulder and Denver, CO. We also provide counseling in English and Spanish.We are also home to Synergetic Play Therapy(SPT) -- the first research-informed play therapy model to blend together neuroscience, attachment/attunement, therapist authenticity, physics, emotional congruence, nervous system regulation and mindfulness/mindsight (2010). Although considered a model of play therapy, SPT is actually a way of being in relationship with self and other. An all-encompassing paradigm, it can be applied to any facet of life. Subsequently, any current model of therapy or ology can also be applied to it.
