• Global Orphan Foundation is an Indianapolis based non-profit with a global mission - to advocate on behalf of orphaned and vulnerable children worldwide and respond with action. We have witnessed firsthand the struggle to meet the basic needs of orphaned children in third-world and developing countries and are committed to easing that burden. We believe that all children deserve proper nutrition, access to healthcare, and educational opportunities. HOW WE SERVE The Global Orphan Foundation operates three distinct areas of orphan care: 1. The Pebble Project: A orphan care and orphanage support program initiated in response to the overwhelming number of orphaned and vulnerable children in the Democratic Republic of Congo 2. Camp My Moment: A female empowerment and leadership development camp for orphaned girls in Nicaragua 3. Adoption Assistance Grants: Grants for families adopting from Africa, Central America, Samoa and the Caribbean OUR STORY The Global Orphan Foundation was founded in 2007 by Michele L. Jackson. After traveling the globe witnessing the plight of orphaned and vulnerable children, and placing hundreds of orphaned children from around the world in permanent homes, Michele sought to create an avenue that would serve the adopting family, advocate on behalf of the orphans and vulnerable children who remain, and respond with action to provide holistic care for orphaned and vulnerable children worldwide.
