Our FoundationGateway Mortgage Company, L.P. began servicing mortgage loans throughout Missouri in 1990. The original ownership group of Don Davis and Robert Chambers, along with 6 of the largest home builders in St. Louis, built a strong foundation of customers that continue to use Gateway Mortgage today. In 1999, Ryan Sandvoss and Jay Bader formed RJ Commercial Funding, Inc. (RJCFI); both were Loan Officers for Gateway Residential Group, a local mortgage company that was a former subsidiary of Gateway Mortgage Company, L.P. RJCFI then later acquired Gateway Residential Group and naming rights from Gateway Mortgage Company, L.P. filing with the State of Missouri to establish the current operating business named Gateway Mortgage. In 2013, Ryan Sandvoss acquired sole ownership of RJCFI, thus Gateway Mortgage and is committed to leading the company into a new era of growth and prosperity with a new image, website and modern marketing philosophy.Today The name Gateway Mortgage is respected throughout the marketplace as one of the premier mortgage brokerage firms in the region. The tradition continues as the core of the company has remained intact and many of the original customers do business with Gateway Mortgage today.
