- Optovue is a privately held medical device company founded by Jay Wei in 2003 to develop the next generation of ophthalmic optical coherence tomography (OCT) instruments.The company is dedicated to working with eye care professionals and clinical researchers to lead the development and commercialization of high-speed OCT and OCT angiography (OCTA), used to facilitate the visualization and management of eye diseases, many of which may lead to permanent blindness.The Optovue team is composed of seasoned professionals experienced in design, development, production, marketing, and sales of ophthalmic devices.
