Today, the chapter is more than 900 members strong, representing business analysts across the state of Minnesota. The chapter is active, offering 34 distinct events every year in the BA community. These events range from networking and picnic socials to career management events, professional development presentations, webinars, study groups and outreach meetings. The premier event for the chapter is the annual Business Analysis Professional Development Day (PDD).  The chapter has held this event for four years starting in 2010.  Each year we have significantly increased attendance, speaker/session offerings and sponsorship. This has become the premier business analysis professional development event in the upper Midwest attaching international recognized speakers and educators.Our meeting attendees demand high quality, on-topic speakers. We search for nationally recognized experts, thought leaders, authors and trainers to provide 52 presentations throughout the year- nearly double last years count. Speakers are required to submit references and must maintain alignment with the BABOK. IIBA MSP Chapter continues to Think Globally and Act Locally. We reach out to other chapters and surrounding BA communities; we provide speaker recommendations and support regional professional development.
