    • Operation Access (OA) has operated for 22 years with a consistent core mission to enable Bay Area health care providers to donate vital surgical and specialty care to people in need. We envision health care equity for people facing barriers to care as we believe the entire community is well served when those most vulnerable receive care. OA has grown into a regional network operating in nine Bay Area counties, including our 2015 launch into Santa Clara County. Currently over 1500 medical volunteers, 22 medical groups, and 43 hospitals and ambulatory care centers donate a wide scope of outpatient surgical and specialty services to patients referred by 70 community clinics. Over 13,000 patients have been served and over $120 million in health care donated during our 22 years of work.
