• I specialize in business law for software and other technology based companies. Unlike many attorneys, I believe the law has no value in-and-of itself. Value is only realized when an effective attorney applies legal concepts in a manner that enables and supports the business interests of a company in a practical and effective manner. That is my mission statement. My expertise includes licensing, distribution, OEM agreements, outsourcing, partnering agreements, complex negotiations, technology acquisitions and sales and corporate transactions. Prior to starting my own practice, I was general counsel for two software companies - one of which was a publicly-traded on NASDAQ. Prior to that I was an attorney practicing technology law with Morris, Manning & Martin in Atlanta ( www.mmmlaw.com ).I live in the Atlanta area, but currently represent clients based in California, Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and Australia. I have successfully closed technology deals in many international jurisdictions, including the UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, China, Australia and New Zealand. I strive to keep my overhead low and to pass on that saving to my clients through low billing rates.
