- Dixie Mechanical Incorporated is a mechanical contractor located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama which operates a custom pipe fabrication shop possessing more than 25 years of experience within the industry.Our fabrication lines include process piping, non-code tanks, skid units, structural components such as pipe hangers and supports, chutes, bins, ducts, large diameter pipe, etc. Boasting a 17,000 square foot fully equipped facility surrounded by 4 acres of lay down area, we can handle all of your pipe welding and fabricating needs.Our primary focus is pipe fabrication but we offer these other products as a method of being a diversified source to our clients. This diversity is due to the highly trained, skilled craftsmen we employ from Pipefitter Local 372 in Tuscaloosa.All of our weld procedures and operators are tested and certified in accordance with ASME Section IX. We are proficient not only in carbon and stainless steel, but can provide fabrication from chrome moly (1 1/4, 2 1/4, 5 and 91), duplex stainless and nickel alloys.When it comes to on-site construction, our expertise lies within the mechanical / industrial arena with an emphasis on piping and small equipment setting. Our main interests are in smaller projects and continuous or short term maintenance.
