• Belinda Crafts and Tony Taylor started this small business on an idea. The idea that everyone has cutting board in their kitchen. Cutting boards are used nearly everyday for slicing up carrots, or chopping lettuce. They are a work horse of the kitchen, but usually stacked up next to the microwave or in a space that can't been seen be visitors. We came up with the idea that a beautiful piece of wood, engraved and personalized with more than just a name or simple monogram, could be a piece of decor for the kitchen and home. We started buying pre made wood cutting boards made out of birch from a local retailer to see if our idea would translate to a larger retail audience. Within a few months we were running a business. We decided to go a step further and make our own cutting boards. Working with local wood workers and craftsmen, we now have five different business we work with to provide us our locally made cutting boards. From there we developed our edge grain blocks, cheese boards, and other items you see in our shop today. Our products have been seen on network television commercials, 4000 season ticket holders of the LA LAKERS, for the cooking show CHOPPED and CHOPPED JR, and most recently as the cover of the holiday gift guide for the Washington Post.
