For more than 30 years, BHcare through its founding organizations, Birmingham Group Health Services and Harbor Health Services has been providing hope and help for individuals, families and children affected by mental illness, domestic violence and substance abuse.BHcare is licensed by the Department of Public Health, and is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.BHcare is designated by the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services as the Local Mental Health Authority for the following towns: Ansonia, Derby, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton.
