Chris grew in the Culinary industry beginning with The Flagstaff House in Boulder Colorado, then moving into the Chef position at Restaurant Kevin Taylor where he stood ground for over 5 years. Both restaurants are rated with Mobil 4 Stars and AAA 4 Diamonds. Chris also opened a 4.5 Million Dollar Restaurant in Dillon Colorado, and then finished his restaurant career as the Chef of Ellyingtons in the Historic Brown Palace Hotel. During this time, Chris formed Market Fresh Catering, and has entertained such guests as President Bush Jr, President Bush Sr., Billy Graham, and many local governmental officials. From gift baskets to box lunches, weddings to formal dinners, Chris utilizes local, organic, and market fresh products. The theory behind market fresh is to form menus around what is at its peak at that particular time. Simple dishes can be composed by combining flavor, color and textures that compliment each other. With perfect execution, these components will make a meal to remember.
