• Scathain is a unique design build company located in the historic Walkers Point of Milwaukee. Over 20 artisans specialize in custom made furnishings for residential and corporate design. A unique niche is our handmade silvered glass mirrors, but we are also known for our unconventional wood and metal finishes, and our use of reclaimed materials. What we bring to the table is a reliable and creative resource who can work with budgets and challenging timelines without sacrificing quality or customer service. Unlike many of our competitors, we have an emphasis on old world techniques which lends a certain timelessness to our work and unrivaled craftsmanship. My artisans carefully cradle each project to ensure a well-thought-out process, eliminating any unnecessary steps or lurking design flaws. We work with building contractors, architecture firms, and design firms who need things not off the shelf. Some of our regular repeat customers include Harley-Davidson, Hendricks Commercial Properties, Kohler, Ann Sacks Tile and Stone, and Price Engineering. We also a great deal of experience creating an atmosphere, as can be seen by our work at the Iron Horse Hotel, Lambeau Field, and the Delafield Hotel. We have even had the pleasure of adorning the homes of Neil Patrick Harris and Khloe Kardashian.
