• J Berry Nursery was founded in 2006 by Jim and Jonathan Berry in Grand Saline, TX, 90 miles east of Dallas. Our primary business objective is to Discover and Deliver Great Plants. The discovery phase involves constant searching around the world for the best plants to offer our customers. Our contacts include universities, other nurseries, government research centers, independent breeders, and breeder representative firms. Our R&D department screens the new plant candidates to ensure that each plant will perform as expected in the landscape, at the garden center, and in production at the nursery. J Berry Nurserys current product line focuses on innovative flowering shrubs primarily in the rose, hibiscus, and hydrangea categories. In the future, you will see us introduce New Oakleaf Hydrangeas, South African Canna's, Clematis, and other exciting plants.
