- We have 2 licensed massage therapist, a certified doula, and a Pilates specialist. We offer many different types of massage, from Swedish, neuromuscular to trigger point work.A doula is a greek word that means woman caregiver. They are trained as a labor assistant who can give continued support to the mother, father or partner. Some benefits are they recognize birth as an experience that the mother will remember all her life. The doula would stay by the side of the laboring mother throughtout the entire labor. Also provide emotional support and physical comfort.Pilates develops core strength, movement efficiency, and integration of the body and mind. This is non-impact method of exercise is ideal for all ages and fitness levels from rehab patients to elite athletes. Some benefits are longer, leaner muscles, increases core strength, stability, and peripheral mobility, and it also improves strength and flexibility.
