• Woops! was founded with the mission of bringing the joy of French macarons to Americans. Our debut was with Woops! in the Park, a boutique macaron booth within the outdoor Holiday Shops of Bryant Park. Success was immediate and surpassed our expectations. Building on the momentum and popularity of Woops! in the Park, we opened in Garden State Plaza, the first of what would quickly become a chain of boutique macaron kiosks throughout shopping centers in the Northeast. Mall management embraced the Woops! aesthetic and shoppers loved our product. To date, Woops! Kiosks can be found in eleven shopping centers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as well as in the Port Authority of NYC, one of the busiest public transportation hubs in the United States with 52 million travelers per year. As it became clear that Woops! and its macarons were unmistakably delicious to consumers, we decided to expand the Woops! model into a full cafe experience that would showcase not only our macarons but also a variety of other artisanal pastries from around the world and our own signature blend of coffee. This venture was a natural next step for Woops! Our company was formed by of a group of New Yorkers that originate from all over the world. Each partner has years of café and restaurant experience and we all were eager to share more global culinary delights with our fellow New Yorkers. The first Woops! Bakeshop opened in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and has become the new go-to café of the neighborhood, offering enticing international pastries, including Argentinian Alfajores, Middle Eastern Burekas, Belgian Waffles and, of course, our French macarons, to name just a few. With all white interiors and a sun-drenched rustic seating area, The Bakeshop has also become an Instragram sensation with customers regularly sharing pictures of the décor and our pastries. We are currently surveying locations for opening multiple Bakeshop cafes throughout New York City.
