• Brava, LLC, a Miami based company, manufactures, markets, and distributes the only clinically proven, non-surgical system for breast enhancement and shaping. The System was introduced to the market in 2001. The system met all marketing requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in early 2001 and is currently available through approximately 300 Brava authorized physicians across the US as well as being sold directly to consumers. In 2002, Brava also began its international expansion into Europe and Asia. Brava, LLC received ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 certification in April 2010, the Canadian Medical Device License in 2011 and CE certification. In December 2012, Brava, LLC received the Australian TGA license as a Class IIa medical device. Earlier in 2012, Brava received its registration as a medical device in China and Argentina. The company has the exclusive rights to patent, manufacture, market, and distribute the Brava Breast Enhancement and Shaping System using proprietary technology developed by its parent company, Bio-mecanica, Inc. The system is supported by 13 issued patents and three patents pending. Product currently in clinical trials as a device used for pre-expansion for minimally-invasive breast reconstruction or augmentation procedures that use a woman's own fat (autologous) to reconstruct or add breast tissue.
