• Ellwood National Forge (ENF) is a global manufacturer of high quality, engineered, heavy metal sections for a wide range of highly specialized applications, including power generation components, pressure vessels, specific military assemblies, artillery components, oilfield products, pipe molds, fan shafts, and other high length/width ratio products with a bored interior diameter. Our unique team of metallurgical experts offer solutions to metallurgical problems and assistance in creating new materials. ENF's machining and heat treating facilities are designed to handle a wide variety of material property requirements and to produce a wide range of sizes and product geometries to very close tolerances. Our vertical and horizontal heat treating facilities are capable of thermal stress relieving, annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering in vertical oil and water quench tanks. We also offer heat stability testing and differential quenching. Our furnaces are capable of handling product with over lengths of 50' (15m) and stainless, titanium and a wide range of oilfield specific alloys. ENF's product size machining capability extends up to 115 (2.92m) in diameter and over 75' (22.86m) in length. We are an industry leader in close tolerance deep-hole boring. Boring the equivalent of 1 1/2 miles weekly. Bore: up to 52 (1.3m) diameter, up to a maximum of 65' (19.82m) in depth.. Honing: up to 54 (1.4m) in diameter/over 50' (15.24m) in length.
