- Eigengene develops proprietary algorithms and genomic signatures to analyze cancer genomic data, in order to (i) predict an individual patients survival and response to treatment, and (ii) develop drug companion diagnostics. Eigengenes algorithms (i) extend powerful proven methods to do what no others can (namely, simultaneously find similarities and dissimilarities across multiple high-dimensional datasets, known as tensors), and, therefore, (ii) find what others miss (e.g., find in cancer genomic data multi-thousand-marker DNA signatures predictive of a cancer patients outcome). Eigengenes multi-thousand-marker DNA (rather than RNA) signatures offer the highest (i) quality and (ii) reliability of information, and can be (iii) implemented by using existing hardware that is already FDA-approved, and deployed in pathology laboratories.
