• Global Partnerships (GP) is a impact'led investor expanding opportunity for people living in poverty. We catalyze opportunity for people living in poverty to earn a living and improve their lives by investing a range of impact-led capital in social enterprises that bring market-sustained opportunity to millions in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa.Since our inception in 1994, GP has impacted more than 5.1 million lives across Latin America, the Caribbean and Sub-Saharan Africa. Among the people our partners serve, more than 65% live in rural areas and 80% are women. Through our partners, we continue our commitment to reach the rural poor and empower women to improve their lives and the lives of their families. Since inception, GP has invested $235 million in 101 partner organizations in 15 countries. Our work is focused around ten investment initiatives: economic, energy, and health. We invest in and partner with a variety of microfinance institutions, social enterprises and cooperatives that help enable their clients to earn a living, care for their families and improve their lives.
