• The mission of the Amputee Coalition is to reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention.Through unique, far-reaching programs and services we work to ensure that no one faces the challenges of limb loss or limb difference alone. The National Limb Loss Resource Center, our peer visitor training, a network of support groups, webinars, and events like the Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp, the National Conference and Limb Loss Education Days are just some of the programs that help provide education and support. To ensure that the voice of the community is heard, the Amputee Coalition leads ongoing federal and state legislative work, partnering with individuals and organizations to turn up the volume on issues of importance to people affected by limb loss and limb difference.
