• Badger Color Concentrates, Inc was founded in 1998 by Mike Fatta (President) and Mike Madey (VP of Operations), both whom come from a background in plastics manufacturing. After years in the industry, Mike and Mike realized innovation, quality, and superior customer service were lacking. With that in mind, Mike and Mike gave in to their entrepreneurial ambitions and took the leap of faith to start their own color concentrate company. Badger Color Concentrates first opened the doors of a 20,000 sq. foot facility in Muskego, Wisconsin, with only four employees. Although the first year was a challenge, business soon began to increase. By 2002, Badger Color Concentrates Muskego facility was no longer large enough to support the growing needs of their customers, so Mike and Mike purchased a plot of land and broke ground on a new facility in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. By November of 2002, all operations were moved to the new 60,000 square foot facility, which is the current corporate headquarters.Throughout the past 18 years, Badger Color has grown substantially and purchased two more buildings. The first building was purchased in 2010, is located in Mukwonago Wisconsin, and is the potential site for our new liquid color division. The second building was purchased this year (2012) and is a 45,000 square foot plant in North Carolina, which will help serve our expanding East Coast customers. Today Badger Color Concentrates employs approximately 175 skilled and diverse employees throughout our three plants who are dedicated to exceeding our customers expectations.
