Description

• Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) MAT addresses the muscular systems role in chronic pain and injury. MAT treats the CAUSE of your symptoms. MAT strategically challenges and progresses an individual's muscular system for improved function.Muscle Activation Techniques are used worldwide by:-Physical Therapists, -Personal Trainers, -Chiropractors, -Massage Therapists,-and many others to deliver optimal muscle performance.Muscle Activation Techniquesis a specific and unique process for evaluating an individuals ability to develop efficient muscle contraction(s). MATs premise is that human movement and exercise are fundamental to human health and that muscles health (demonstrated by its ability to contract efficiently) is important for normal movement. Any loss of muscle(s) contraction efficiency may be demonstrated as a loss of motion and decreased physical performance, which may lead to subjective complaints and/or the loss of physical capabilities.MAT offers two education programs:*The introductory MAT Jumpstart Program, *The rigorous MAT Internship program.
