• The agency was established in 1936 by Sam Dunaway, a local Marion businessman who operated an insurance agency next to his house in a small office. In 1970, he sold the business to Robert Bradley and the name was changed to Bob Bradley Insurance Agency. In January of 1994, the name was changed to The Insurance House. Why The Insurance House? First, because it is unique and different but most important, it tells the whole story of what we are - we are in the insurance business, where we are - we are located in a renovated old two-story Victorian house. That along with our friendly surroundings and our interior design gives us a home like atmosphere. We have a commitment to maintain a high standard of excellence in all that we do and to establish a firm relationship of mutual trust and service with each of our clients.
