We build kitchens with impact from the smallest detail to the breathtaking big picture. We come from humble beginnings, founded in 1953 by our current owner Tom Hartmans parents, Ester and Pius Hartman. Kd began by created high-level kitchens for large commercial clients including hospitals, schools and even the Colorado Air Force Academy. Moving beyond commercial kitchens, Pius found some of Colorados most noted families wanted us to capture the best in kitchen design and mix it with a dash of their own personal flair. It was when here that he found a passion for creating unique and innovative spaces that catered to the homeowners functional and design needs. The result 60 years later, are more than 1,000 Kd kitchens that brim with personality and style.Every one of our kitchens is beautifully unique - a reflection of our individual clients' dreams combined with our expertise and eclectic sense of style. Every space is different and every detail is hand selected to not only look and function wonderfully, but also last for years to come.
