• In 1940 my mother, Ferial, discovered the beauty she could bring out of a fine fabric. By 1954, she had educated herself and worked hard to save up for her first sewing machine. And in 1960 she married my father, Mo also an entrepreneur who soon came to share that love. Together with my grandfather, they passed down to their children an appreciation for the beautiful Egyptian textiles that had become their lifes work our lifes work.As a result, Home City, Inc. represents three generations of experience with the highest quality Egyptian cotton, microfiber, and other fine textiles. What began as a small tailoring operation became an international business bringing the best in luxury fabrics to both customers and retailers. We slowly expanded our products to include sheets, comforters, pillows, towels, robes, and duvets. And throughout the years weve successfully maintained the best pricing in the industry.Home City, Inc. is headquartered in Edison, NJ, but we operate from other offices in the United States, as well as in Egypt, China, and India. And while we have a lot more than a single sewing machine these days, were still driven by the artistry and craftsmanship my mother fell in love with all those years ago.
