Career Master Events

Description

• Career Master Events was created to promote and expand on the traditional Career Fair model. Relationship building through golf events enhances this process. The typical career fair arranges for a number of companys to manage a table in a local conference room. Standard career fairs seem to lack an intimate connection, between employer and potential employee. The golf event allows for an advanced method of interaction as well as an opportunity to know if a candidate is suitable for the position within your organization. The sequence begins by having potential candidates send in their resume for review. Our Human Resources staff will process the applications and select the leading candidates to be invited to the golf event. Even though potentially hundreds, if not thousands, of applications will be received, only the top one hundred and eight candidates will be selected to participate in each event. The hiring authorities that will be golfing with the selected candidates will have an opportunity to get to personally know each potential hire by spending quality time with them. Each hiring authority will golf, in a scramble format, * with six candidates three on the front nine and three more on the back nine. Each hiring authority will spend approximately two to two and a half hours with their group of three candidates allowing them to interview, informally, each prospective hire for 40 to 50 minutes on the golf course.
