- At Resolve we're dedicated to intervening and preventing domestic and sexual violence against women. We believe that by engaging women and men we can develop and deliver innovative, community-centered solutions that promote safety and equality so that women and girls are free to realize their full potential.Resolve of Greater Rochester began as two separate organizations, Safe Journey, and Stand Up Guys. Both organizations were searching for ways to make a greater difference in the fight to end violence against women. Safe Journey came at it from an intervention perspective while Stand Up Guys came at the issue from a prevention perspective, engaging men in conversations about the violence done to women, by men.
