• GasSearch Drilling Services Corporation (GDS) was founded in 2006 and is a subsidiary company of Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation (COG). GDS is based in South Montrose, Pennsylvania and provides services including: pad site development, impoundment construction, water hauling, trucking, light equipment rental and roustabout services in support of the natural gas industry. GDS has grown from roughly 60 employees 2 years ago to over 180 current employees, consisting of over 95% locally based work force. The company offers a competitive lineup of employee benefits and a state of the art safety bonus program to reward safety in the workplace. GDS has recently completed construction of a new office building located on Highway 29 in South Montrose and a newly renovated shop and maintenance facility located on Highway 706 west of Montrose. Funding has also been allocated to the 2013 budget for the construction of a state of the art CNG Maintenance Facility and storage warehouse.This CNG Maintenance Facility will be the first of its kind within Susquehanna County, PA.
