This mission is achieved through innovative programs that prepare the next generation of health professionals to provide compassionate and quality health care to vulnerable populations.CC AHEC is a 501(c) 3 non-profit that works to increase the number of primary care physicians serving in disadvantaged populations in Washington, D.C.; increase the pipeline of underrepresented minority and disadvantaged students into the health professions; and assist practitioners and community-based organizations in addressing local health concerns.
