- Since 1955, Eugene Hearing & Speech Center (EHSC) has been in the community providing outstanding hearing and speech services. EHSC is proud to provide comprehensive programs that provide hearing and speech needs for patients of all ages. The licensed and certified audiologists and speech/language pathologists utilize the latest equipment and technologies combined with compassionate care to help each patient reach his/her communication potential. Communication disorders have profound consequences because of social stigma and the frustration of being unable to communicate. The mission of EHSC is to provide the highest-quality evaluation, treatment, education and advocacy for individuals with communication disorders. At the core of our mission is charitable care. Last year, we provided services to 6,200 infants, children, adults and seniors with communication disorders. Because of our generous community, donors and sponsors, EHSC was able to provide $395,450 of charitable care to 4,724 low-income patients.
