Description

We pair injured service members with rescued service dogs giving both a better life. Our mission is to provide service/companion dogs at no cost to service members who have suffered catastrophic injuries such as loss of limbs while in service to our country. In order to do so without adding a financial burden, our goal is to provide professionally trained service dogs, dog food and veterinary care wherever possible. We believe our efforts provide our service members and dogs with a chance at a better life. We rescue all of our dogs from shelters and put them through a rigorous training program before pairing them with our service members. Each dog is taught a variety of useful commands such as sit, stay, and come, as well as more advanced commands for tasks like turning on lights, opening doors and bracing their human. By adopting rescue dogs and pairing them with injured service members were fostering an incredible bond between humans and animals giving both a better life.
