In other words, The Employer Group co-employs the employees at client worksites, sharing responsibility and liability for employee management. The client is responsible for on-site management, while The Employer Group (as PEO), the employer of record, is responsible for most human resource activities.We handle the administrative complexities of employment, so our clients are able to focus on growing their organizations instead of getting bogged down in paperwork.Based in Verona, Wisconsin, The Employer Group has been in business since 1995, working with both large and small organizations across several industries. We are registered in 27 states, which allows us to administer HR services that comply with unique laws and regulations in specific geographic areas. We are an active member of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO), and take pride in our community by getting involved in several charitable organizations closer to home such as DAIS, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and several other community organizations.In 2007, Angie Heim became President of The Employer Group, and we are currently the largest privately-owned PEO in the northern Midwest Region.
