• Talis Clinical, located in Cleveland, OH is a health tech start up launched out of Cleveland Clinic Innovations. Our mission is to meet the higher purpose of supporting safe patient care, while positively impacting the clinicians and providers. We began with designing, developing, marketing and implementing an anesthesia information system that is the standard of care for one of the Top 4 hospitals in the country. This platform, called ACG-Anesthesia is a threefold solution. An intuitive documentation tool allows charting of the complex workflows of anesthesia care with minimal interruption to the clinician and delivers a fully compliant electronic record and automated billing. Advanced Clinical Guidance in real time support better decision making on the fly thus improving patient safety and outcomes. And, operational and clinical dashboards, which can be accessed from any mobile device offer remote visibility of the entire Operating Theater facilitating safe and efficient management of all cases. ACG-Anesthesia stores and compiles all the data generated at the point of care with robust reporting tools to support ongoing outcomes research and operational initiatives. We are now expanding to a surgical home model that encompasses the entire surgery experience allowing continuity of care and an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to patient management. From the preoperative assessment through PACU and into the ICU, our expanded model follows the patient through all the phases of the surgery experience allowing for a consolidated view of all the patient information, safer handoffs, clinical decision support and remote, real time monitoring.
