- BioSpectra is a US based, FDA registered and inspected manufacturer of Life Science Intermediates, Excipients and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. BioSpectra offers five different grades of its chemicals to meet specific end-use requirements.Bio Active Grade products are manufactured in our Bangor location in accordance with ICH Q7 guidelines utilizing qualified equipment and utilities, validated processes and traceable supply chains. Type II Drug Master Files may be referenced through a supply agreement. Bio Excipient Grade products manufactured in accordance with ICH Q7 guidelines using validated processes and traceable supply chains are shipped from both facilities. Type IV Drug Master Files are available for Bio Excipient Grade products.Bio FUISA Grade products are intended For Use In Sterile Applications. These chemicals are produced in our Bangor plant in accordance with ICH Q7 guidelines including the use of qualified equipment and utilities, validated processes and fully traceable supply chains. Type II Drug Master Files may be referenced through a supply agreement. Bio Pharma Grade products manufactured in accordance with IPEC guidelines are produced in both the Bangor and Stroudsburg facilities.Bio Ultra Grade products are sourced and packaged using secure supply chains. This grade of product is manufactured using verified and audited quality systems to ensure that our customers have access to high quality material for use in processing and research. Bio Ultra Grade products are available under the BioBuffer Solutions brand.BioSpectras product catalog includes biological buffers, amino acids, carbohydrates and biopharmaceutical process chemicals.
