- Engel Entertainment is a full-service television and film production company based in New York City that has been producing primarily documentary and non-fiction films and programs since 1995 that appear on Animal Planet, PBS, Discovery Channel, A&E, History, Food Network and Lifetime, to name just a few. As of Fall 2012, we are in production of a second season of the hit Animal Planet series, North Woods Law, which features the elite Game Wardens of Maine who patrol more than 18 million acres of rugged terrain, and who are always on call responding to life and death situations in order to serve and protect the public. In addition, our 1-hour special Tinos Latino premiered on the Cooking Channel this summer, and we are in production on various development projects with major cable broadcasters.In addition, our feature length documentary, A Walk to Beautiful, which won the International Documentary Associations Feature Documentary Award, among other honors, was also awarded and Emmy Award® for the edited television version that aired on PBS on the series NOVA.
