- Logan Consultants is a leading provider of Central Sterile Processing training. Since our inception in 1992, we have provided quality training that is both affordable and innovative. Our lead trainer is Mr. William Logan has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry in the realm of Sterile Processing Material Management, Logistics, Managing hospital supply, processing and distribution. He has crafted a training course in Central Sterilization Processing that is second to none. This course marries theory with practice. Mr. Logans years of experience adds a valuable real-world dynamic to the course that will ultimately prepare the student for any work environment. This course is designed for individuals aspiring to work in a Sterile Processing area in the Operating Room, Hospital or any other facility performing cleaning, decontamination, packaging and sterilization services; including doctor's and dental offices. This 16-week program prepares you for a career in sterile processing and distribution. Course preparation includes Human Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology and Infection Control, Decontamination, Sterilization, Surgical Instrumentation Processing and Distribution. In addition, clinical applications are provided to enhance your skills. Currently, The New Jersey State Department of Health requires certification for personnel performing sterile processing functions and other legislation in other states are following. This course will help train you in the best practices for the profession. At the completion of this course, Logan Consultants will provide a certificate of completion. As a graduate of the program, you will be eligible to sit for the IAHCSMM certification examinations.
