- The Autism Center at New England Behavioral Services, Inc. offers Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Each case is designed, implemented, and supervised by a team consisting of a BCBA, a state -- certified special education teacher, and two ABA therapists. Working with clients, parents, and caregivers, our philosophy emphasizes socially meaningful skill development in home and community settings. Programming for young children and school -- aged children emphasizes: - Early Intervention - Communication Development - Social and Play Skills - Self - Regulatory Skills - Pre -- academic Skills - Consultation with Schools, Classrooms, and IEP Teams - Natural Environment Teaching in Inclusive Environments Programming for older teenagers and adults emphasizes: - Communication - Vocational Training - Social Skills - Self -- Advocacy Skills - Life Skills - Community -- based instruction - Consultations with day services, vocational programs, and community partners Depending on individual needs, a variety of programming and service options are available, ranging from brief consultations with families and schools to intensive service provision within the family home. Most major health insurances are accepted.
