• The Hearing Aid Academy offers a high value education and prepares NEW Hearing Instrument Specialist to quickly and substantively enter the market and respond effectively to the growing savvy baby boomer population. Before the HAA became available, the main source of education to the NEW dispensing specialist was apprenticeship based. As appropriate as apprentice-based training has been to educate and prepare the dispensing specialist for the last 50 years, it is widely recognized that a deeper level of training and preparation are necessary to prepare the dispensing specialist to effectively meet the demands of today's consumers.
