Serve Denton

Description

• Serve Denton is a 501(c)(3), community-based nonprofit organization that exists to help other nonprofits fulfill their mission in advancing the common good of Denton County through co-location, collaboration, and communication. We help nonprofits collaborate, communicate, and were working to help them co-locate in our unique nonprofit center. More than 30 nonprofits wish to locate in our center; well charge them $1 in rent each year and they will share utility fees. Were preparing the way for nonprofits to share space, information, and ideas in an environment that benefits the whole community. Our community needs one central place that offers help to those in need. Our nonprofits are spread across the county making it difficult for those in crisis to find all the resources to get back on their feet. Some of our most important services are not accessible by public transportation, and overhead costs are restricting the work agencies can afford to do. Our nonprofits need a professional, inspiring atmosphere to welcome clients, donors, and volunteers, all in a place that saves their scarce dollars from high rent costs and helps them be more efficient. For more information visit www.servedenton.org or email info@servedenton.org.
