- Welcome to Brandywine Photonics! We turn napkins sketches into science hardware. Whether optics, cryogenics, electronics, or system engineering, there is no job too big or small. Our customers have included NASA Ames, NASA Goddard, the US Naval Research Laboratory, the Indian Space Research Organizations, and numerous more down-to-earth applications. Our specialty is in optical remote sensing, specifically hyperspectral imaging, whether spectrometers, interferometers, or filter based instruments. We also sell highly advanced slits, filters, gratings, and spectrographs. When you can't buy it COTS, we are often the ones people go to for their really hard spectroscopy problems. Check back in the Summer of 2017 for our fully depleted, backside illuminated CMOS Image Sensor - it will be the most advanced CMOS sensors on the market, specifically for spectral imaging.
