Soon after this revelation, three old friends reunited and left their high paying cushy corporate jobs to create a product line not found elsewhere in the world. Each partner brought a unique skill-set and their checkbook. In 2003, Powerlet won the SBA's (MI-SBTDC) Best Small Business of The Year award. Powerlet now has dealer and distribution outlets throughout the USA, UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia. OEM customers include Polaris Industries, Indian Motorcycles, KTM North America, and Big Dog Motorcycles.Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, Powerlet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coliant Corporation.
