- Caring House is a non-profit organization which provides comfortable and affordable accommodation for adults receiving outpatient treatment at Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center in Durham, NC. The house has 18 bedrooms, three kitchens, library/computer room, laundry room, sun room and outdoor gardens. Patients are accepted on a first-come, first served basis and must be referred by a Duke social worker. Each guest has a private room with a bath, television, DVD player and two beds.
