In 1993 Shee Atiká established the Shee Atiká Fund Endowment (SAFE), an ANCSA Settlement Trust. SAFE is designed to make consistent, twice yearly, distributions to its beneficiaries In 1998, Shee Atiká, Incorporated funded another Settlement Trust for the benefit of its shareholders; the Shee Atiká Benefits Trust (SABT), which provides educational and funeral benefits.Today, in addition to its timberlands, Shee Atiká owns the Totem Square Inn, Sitka's premier hotel; the newest building in downtown Sitka, the Shee Atiká Building as well as commercial properties in the lower 48.With a combined net worth of approximately $100 million, SAI, SAFE and SABT not only provide economic benefits to Shee Atiká, Incorporated shareholders, but also contribute to the economic well-being of the community and the state.SAI is also the parent organization for Shee Atiká Languages, LLC, Shee Atiká Technologies, LLC, Shee Atiká Services, LLC, Shee Atiká Management, LLC and Shee Atiká Commercial Services, LLCShee Atiká Languages, LLC (SAL) is a subsidiary of Shee Aitká, Inc. in Sitka, Alaska and a professional foreign language services provider.
