Blue Mountain Management Group

Description

• Hugh Southard, Owner and President of Blue Mountain Artists and Blue Mountain Management Group, is extremely appreciative of his good luck! After opening the doors of Blue Mountain Artists on January 1, 2004, many of the musicians that he admired and respected, joined him on his new adventure. Blue Mountain Artists became an agency for the best American touring artists, without regards to labels or titles, all while understanding the difficulties of the road, and the plight of the promoters. Many of the bands in the Blue Mountain Artist roster have been friends with Hugh for 25 years. Other bands are new friends that BMA has established bonds with over the past few years. BMA is fortunate to have their faith, and intends to work its hardest to forge relationships between the musicians, the buyers and the fans that will last a lifetime and benefit everyone.BLUE MOUNTAIN MANAGEMENT GROUPBlue Mountain Management Group (BMMG) is the newest addition to the Blue Mountain Artists family. BMMG was born, thanks to a life long friendship between BMA owner Hugh Southard, and the legendary TIM REYNOLDS. When Tim decided to become a touring member of the Dave Matthews Band in 2008, he needed someone to help with the management of his career. After 25 years of friendship, it just made sense that BMMG would be the right choice for TIM REYNOLDS and TR3.BMMGs second client, THE PERFECT AGE OF ROCK N ROLL BLUES BAND (PARR) is as authentic as a Blues Band gets! When Joe White, Executive Producer of the film, The Perfect Age of Rock and Roll, was looking for an authentic blues band to put into his plot line, he called Hugh Southard. Hubert Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins, Sugar Blue, Willie Big Eyes Smith, Bob Stroger and Steady Rollin Bob Margolin became that band. The PARR Blues Band is gearing up for The ONCE & FOR ALL Tour, which starts in San Francisco, CA, at the Great America Music Hall on 03.31.10.
