• Infinite Family is doing ground-breaking work mentoring under-served South African students.Our mentoring platform supports personal, face-to-face interaction with adult volunteer mentors around the world. They augment whats taught in the classroom through topics that prepare students for their adult lives: Communications, Academics, Life Skills, Technology, and Career Preparation. Breaking the Cycle of Diminished ProspectsMentoring labs are located in apartheid era townships, informal settlements and disinvested neighborhoodsthe backdrop for extreme conditions that includes inadequate shelter, nutrition, education, healthcare, and safety, and where the ravages of HIV/AIDS and parentless homes predominate. The primary victims of these challenges are the young, who are stuck in a cycle of ill health, violence, and diminished prospects.We are proving that mentored students perform better. They are better able to cope with their lives and take responsibility for their futures. They understand the importance of staying in school and preparing for life after they graduate. They have a better chance at achieving self-reliance and a better life.
