• About Us:Testicular Cancer Foundation provides education and support to young men to raise awareness about testicular cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer among males ages 15 35. TCF supports families of testicular cancer patients and shares its resources with the medical and healthcare communities, schools and various young mens groups.Problem:Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in males 15-35 but its 99% treatable if caught in its early stages. If left unchecked, it can spread to other parts of the body. Testicular cancer will work its way up the torso and can spread into the lymph nodes and vital organs. According to the National Cancer Institute there will be an estimated 8,820 in new cases, 300 more than in 2013, and 380 deaths in 2014.Awareness and education of testicular cancer and steps for self-examination are not readily available to our demographic. High schools are encouraged to provide this life-saving information however it is not mandatory.History:At age 21, Matt Ferstler after loosing his left testicle to cancer became known to his close friends as Single Jingles.That nickname turned into the name of our cause as Matt founded Single Jingles (Testicular Cancer Foundation) as a testicular cancer awareness organization in 2009. The purpose of TCF is simple: we provide awareness and education to young men and their families about this disease. We educate them how to do a simple monthly self-exam to detect for early signs of testicular cancer.By teaching young men about their body, we not only increase the likelihood of early detection of testicular cancer we also are teaching them about the importance of taking care of their bodies and being an advocate for their own health.Mission:Testicular Cancer Foundation provides education and support to young men to raise awareness about testicular cancer, the #1 cancer among men ages 15 35.
